Opening an online demat account with Upstox is easy, fast and paperless. All you need is your Aadhaar Card and access to the phone number registered on it. If you have these, fill out the demat account opening form. After this, you will need to upload the necessary documents. So, have them handy before you get started. Here is a list of the documents you will need:
1. Aadhaar Card
2. PAN Card
3. Income Proof (depending on the segment you choose)
4. Signature (on a blank paper)
5. Your photograph.
Remember: If your Aadhaar card and phone number are not linked, you won’t be able to open an account online. In such a case, you will have to open an account offline. Learn more
